Happy Easter 2008
Hola amigos,
first and foremost, Happy Easter to all of you. May Peace, Love, and Joy will always follow you wherever you go :)
Something that I learned today: Jesus never asked about your sin, He only cares that you have come back to Him so that your relationship will be restored and He will put back His Trust and Love in you.
Watched Crows Ep. Zero with my sisters and cousin during the Good Friday. A high school gangster movie starring Shun Oguri and Yamada Takayuki. Even though I said high-school, it did not have that sweetness of youth kind of high-school. In fact the only thing that showed the characters were high-school students probably was the uniform. The director and the script-writer tried their best to minimize the love-story as not to turn the movie into another "High School Musical". Based on a manga by Takahashi Hishori, the movie is slow to medium pace, comedy-action with some blood spilled. The best scene for the movie to me is the part where the two gangs ready to battle it out in the rain.
I recommend the movie to people who like action, those who like japanese-style film directing, boys who value friendship as high as love, girls who love bad boys, or well, girls who love Oguri-kun or Yamada-kun, and guys who love Kuroki Meisa. It's a money well-spent definitely :)
I was going to watch Great Teacher Onizuka dorama again because the last time I watched I did not watch it with English sub so I didn't really understand the whole point. I will try to enjoy the dorama as much as when I watched it for the first time. I watched the dorama in 2000 several months before I left for USA. I watched it from 8 PM at night and finished at about 7.30 AM in the morning. I did not sleep and watched it from episode 1 through final and loved every minutes of it. :) I will not try to pull that same stunt again this time due to working commitment. Argh...how's time has changed? like Spider-man's uncle said: with great power, comes great responsibilities. In my case, with additional age, comes great responsibilities (-_-)"'
I leave you with something some lyrics I heard from the church on Friday: " But Lord let me be, what You want me to be. Your words i will strive to obey. My life i now give, for You i will live. And walk by Your side all the way".
Good night and Welcome to the "Monday-Blues Club" ( I should buy the "Reasons not to go to work on Monday" book recommended by the book-store just now :) )
